Go BIG!
I don’t know about you but when I do anything, I usually go all in. The word small has never appealed to me. In my mind I have dreamed about Fishers Church of Christ someday doubling in size. Why not?
- Fishers population is now over 100,000 people.
- Hamilton county has over 350,000 people.
- I just need a measly 200 to double in size.
- Is it doable, Absolutely! Sometimes my dreams need a scripture to keep them biblical.
1 Cor. 3:6 states “I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.” This verse tells me that God gives the increase, not me! So, God is in charge of the next 200. You see, we are assigned the 100,000. Really?
2 Cor 9:10 says “Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness.”
We are assigned getting the word to the 100,000 that live in Fishers! God will give the increase from there. I told you I like big. I’m in if you are!
